Make Music Argentina
After an initial pilot year in 2018, Make Music Argentina had 200+ free musical events in 2019 on June 21, across all 23 provinces. These included open classes, workshops, events in schools, bars, studios, and outdoor spaces.
Music Making Across the Country
In 2019, the country’s TV Pública and Radio Nacional broadcast the music-making festivities live across more than 50 stations. Additionally, the Ministry of Education provided trucks that traveled around Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Misiones, and Jujuy, making stops to teach children ages 6-18 how to build and play instruments. In Buenos Aires, musical activities filled each room of the massive Usina del Arte cultural center.
Make Music Argentina is organized by CAFIM, the Argentine Association of Musical Instrument Manufacturers.
